Knowledge In Books was our original name when we started in 2023, focused primarily on community libraries. As our programs expanded to include economic empowerment and environmental sustainability, we rebranded to Ustawi Impact in 2025 to better reflect our broader mission.

Our three pillars of transformation are: Quality Education — increasing access to books, digital learning tools, and educational resources; Economic Empowerment — enhancing skills development, vocational training, and entrepreneurship; Environmental Sustainability — raising awareness and promoting sustainable practices among schools and communities.
